Petwhile

What do your pets get up to when you're not home?

Now you can find out. Peek at the pet cam and catch them napping in odd places, chasing each other from room to room and staring very hard at a bird. Then walk in the door to the happiest hello of your day.

Every homecoming

They never sit still.

Zoomies. Sunbathing. Knocking things off shelves. Your pets keep busy whether you're watching or not, and every time you come back there's a short story of what you missed.

Camera roll

A little world that carries on without you.

Cats and dogs with minds of their own, drawn one pixel at a time.

Come home to a happy hello: four dressed pets greeting you in the living room. Watch them on the pet cam: a cardinal at the window with three pets looking on. See what they got up to: the While You Were Away report in the old barn. Make friends in the yard: a stray dog who wants to move in. Spot every visitor: the Field Guide of wildlife and window birds. Dress them up: the Closet of hats and collars. Move somewhere bigger: the apartment, cabin, house and old barn. Fill your scrapbook: snapshots of every first.

What's on

Six things worth tuning in for.

CAM 1

The best part of your day

Come home and they come running. Tails up, hearts flying, and maybe a little gift left on the floor just for you.

CAM 2

Who's that at the window

Cardinals on the sill. A raccoon in the yard. A shy stray who keeps coming back. Win their trust and they might just move in.

CAM 3

Personalities you uncover

You never pick who they are. Watch long enough and you'll learn who's the troublemaker and who's the napper.

CAM 4

Hats. So many hats.

Beanies, bow ties, flower crowns and a party hat for the cat who has earned it. Toys and furniture too.

CAM 5

Room to grow

Start in a city apartment. Work your way up to a cabin, a house and a big old barn with room for five.

CAM 6

Play from anywhere

Toss treats, blow bubbles and roll a ball right from the camera. Then keep an eye on them with the Room Cam widget.

Help & support

Stuck? Start here.

How do I come home or leave?

The game opens on the pet cam. Tap COME HOME at the top to go to your pets, or shake your phone. Tap LEAVE to go back to the cameras.

How do I get my purchases back?

Open Settings (the gear beside your pet's name) and tap Restore Purchases. Bundles come back to the Closet. Kibble you bought is part of your save, so it returns with your iCloud backup.

Is my game backed up?

Yes, to your own iCloud, unless you turn it off in Settings. A new phone or a reinstall picks the backup up. It is a backup, not a sync, so two phones each keep their own game.

Do I lose anything if I miss a day?

No. Nothing is taken away, and the first homecoming after a break pays a little extra kibble.

How do I turn off the daily reminder?

Settings, then Daily reminder. There is at most one a day, and only when you haven't checked in for a while.

Why hasn't a stray moved in yet?

Strays warm up slowly. Trust grows once a day at most, so leave a treat, check the yard camera and give it a few days. At full trust it asks to move in.

How do I ask for a refund?

Apple handles every purchase and refund. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and choose the purchase.
